At this time of the year Darwin is bedecked with Frangipani trees in full glorious flower. Where they are growing affects when they flower and for how long. Here are some Ā I took near the Botanic Gardens last week, and one from our own garden.
I hope these gorgeous flowers have brought sunshine to youĀ this Friday.
I have a few frangipannis, but of these, only the second one… Mmm, perhaps an express parcel with cuttings? Just think of the fun we’ll have swapping plants…
Ooh, I like the second one best…happy you’ve got it. Will have to find out eventually how the quarantine works between NT and Qld as there are some plants I’d like to relocate. We will have fun š
In n our nearest shopping village in Tenerife they have planted frangipan near the street bins. the perfume of the flowers almost masks the smell of the rubbish!
That’s an interesting piece of urban planning Liz.
I love the yellow with red tips! Gorgeous! š
Yes, they’re my favourites too CB for all that I have the pink ones outside my window.
Yes brought some sunshine to my day. I am a sucker for flowers and pictures of cats.
me too Fran, but I’m confining myself to flowers with this…though I do take photos of cats wherever I travel.
Me too Fran…a perfect combination but I think I’ll stick to just flowers for now š
